State v. Douglas Shine                CR 606156       

The jury found the defendant guilty of committing the Chalk Linez Barbershop triple homicide where the defendant entered a crowded barbershop and opened fire approximately 50 times.

State v. Marcus Ladson               CR 604466      

The jury found the defendant guilty of committing murder, several drive-by shootings, and gang specifications where the defendant, a Heartless Felon gang member, engaged in a pattern of criminal conduct that destabilized an entire neighborhood.

The jury found the defendant guilty of human trafficking where the defendant used a local hotel to traffic young women.

The jury found the defendant guilty of aggravated murder, murder, and felonious assault where the defendant shot and killed his business partner over a contract dispute.

State v. Jose Rodriguez              CR 579577         

The jury found the defendant guilty of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, and felonious assault where the defendant robbed and shot the owner of a Daisy Avenue convenience store on Cleveland’s west side.

State v. Damon Peterson            CR 571165         

The jury found the defendant guilty of 19 counts where the defendant participated in an aggravated robbery spree that claimed the lives of a store clerk and a customer.  The case was featured on A&E’s “After the First 48” episode Easy Money.

State v. Duane/Stanley Smith      CR 532637         

The judge and jury found two brothers guilty in two separate trials for their roles as gunmen in the planned aggravated robbery of a house poker game on Cleveland’s west side.
